Yael is a designer and maker of ceramic objects. She is particularly drawn to working with porcelain because of its smooth texture and translucency. Her work showcases the material's unique characteristics, such as its capacity to absorb colours and convey a sense of movement. Each piece is engraved on the wheel with a unique pattern which is then filled with coloured slip.

All the pieces are handmade by Yael which allows her to minimize waste. She recycles clay and uses the trimming chips for making the blue slip used for decorating her pieces. The pieces are made from porcelain and are high fired which makes them strong and durable.
