Accessibility: We hope that everyone enjoys their experience in the gallery. If you require assistance please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help. We have a doorbell in the front doorway of the gallery to attract staff attention. Unfortunately because of the configuration of the very narrow pavement and two steps leading to the gallery space it is impossible to install a ramp for wheelchair access.
A large selection of artwork available in the gallery is also displayed on our website. We are happy to arrange viewing at our sister gallery cambridge contemporary art located a short distance away, on 6 Trinity Street, CB2 1SU, which has step-free access.
Contact us on 01223 361200 or email info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk for all general access queries
Parking: If you are driving to Cambridge, the Grand Arcade carpark is about 5mins away. You can also use the Park and Ride which runs 7 days a week. If you get off the Park and Ride bus at Drummer Street bus station or Downing Street bus stop and we are a 5/10min walk away. More information about parking is here.
Collecting art work: If you are driving to the gallery to collect artwork, there is a one-way system and you will need to drive towards the Grand Arcade car park, then follow the road around, past the Corn Exchange and onto Bene't Street. There are double yellow lines outside the gallery, but you can stop very briefly to collect artwork.
Train: There is a fast and frequent train service from London King’s Cross & London Liverpool Street to Cambridge. We are a 25min walk from the train station. To catch a bus from Cambridge railway station into the city centre look for the Citi 1, Citi 3 or Citi 7 services.
Bus: If you are travelling into town on the bus the closest stops to the gallery is Emmanual Street (by Drummer Street bus station), which is about 10mins walk away.
Cycling in Cambridge is one of the best ways to see the city. See the Official Cambridge Cycling Map for routes around the city.
