Terms and Conditions, Shipping & Returns
cambridge contemporary crafts specialises in crafts handmade in the UK. Due to the nature of hand crafted work, colours and sizes can vary slightly from the photographs. Please call us on 01223 361200 or send us an email to info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk if you would like to see more photos of a particular piece of work before you decide. All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT.
How to buy:
All available work in the gallery is listed on our online shop. Choose your pieces and follow instructions at checkout.
You can also phone us on 01223 361200 or send us an email to info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk to request images and prices of a particular artist's work. We can take payment over the phone and post the item out to you (or to your friend’s address).
Commissions: we are in regular contact with all the artists whose work that we display in the gallery and can contact them on your behalf for information about commissions and special orders.
Reserving an item: you can reserve a piece of artwork by giving us a ring on 01223 361200 or sending us an email to info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk. We'll keep your item aside for up to 2 days, however if you would like it to be reserved for longer you may pay a non-refundable deposit over the phone and we will be happy to hold the item until you're ready to collect it in person.
Packaging & Breakages
We wrap each item very carefully. We endeavour to reuse and recycle packaging materials wherever possible and we invest in recycled and recyclable packing options.
In the unlikely event that your order does arrive damaged or has a fault, please email us at info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk immediately, so that we can arrange an exchange. Please do not throw the item away. Keep it in its packaging and inform us of the problem within 7 days of receiving the goods, otherwise we cannot be held responsible for damage that has occurred.
Cancelling an order
If you wish to cancel an order please email us as soon as possible at info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk If we have already posted the item you will need to follow the directions below and return the item to us.
Returns
Pieces physically purchased in store
We offer an exchange or a credit note for any piece purchased at cambridge contemporary craft, 5 Bene’t Street, Cambridge within 28 days of the purchase.
Pieces purchased via our online shop
If, for any reason, you are not happy with your online purchase please contact us within 14 days of receiving the goods. To return any items you must contact us in writing by sending an email to info@cambridgecrafts.co.uk.
We will only accept the return of item/s if they are in unused condition, in the original undamaged packaging or packaging of the same quality. You are responsible for the shipping to the gallery. All artwork is sent back at your own risk. We would advise using recorded delivery as the parcel is not our responsibility until we sign for it.
Shipping Information:
It can take up to 3 working days before your order is dispatched. If you need your order by a specific date please contact us before ordering and we will let you know if this is possible.
We do not make a profit on delivery fees; we simply charge you what it costs to send the work to you. We aim to use as much recycled material as possible in our packaging.
If you are not in to take delivery of your parcel, it is your responsibility to arrange a redelivery with the postal service used. If you do not arrange a redelivery or collect the parcel from the depot, and it is returned to cambridge contemporary crafts, then we will have to charge to ship it out again.
UK Orders
Orders are sent with Royal Mail first class and will take 3 - 7 working days to arrive once it has been sent. In rare cases it can take a bit longer, especially during busy times of year. If your order hasn't arrived within 10 days please get in touch.
International Orders
We are currently not shipping to Europe and Northern Ireland due to new General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR). We hope to ship to Europe and Northern Ireland in the future.
For International orders outside of Europe please email us to discuss shipping.
Orders from outside of the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes incurred when the delivery reaches your destination. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot foresee their amount.
The charges of import duties and taxes must be paid by the recipient of the order.
Please note that there could be a delay while the item is held in customs. Unfortunately we have no control over this, and cannot supply any details why or for how long your parcel may be delayed.
