Her work has been bought by collectors in the UK and many other countries including Japan, Alaska, Mexico, USA, Korea, China, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. The work is all hand sculpted from clay, often with details painted in underglaze before other Earthenware glazes are added.
She is very influenced by the environment and nature, often Polar Bears in particular. Inspired by folk ark, ancient talismen also the Japanese idea of Kawaii and it's acceptance into the high end art world led by artists such as Yoshitomo Nara.
“Ceramics lend themselves to the tactile, comforting presence of a piece of art in our personal space, the glazes accentuating the mark making and surface pattern detail. to create a tangible connection with the viewer.”
