Using white, earthenware clay, Justine throws beautiful, fine pots on the wheel. The form, function & colours work harmoniously together to bring the beholder daily joy, enhance a sense of self, offer a focus for contemplation & that have an ease of utility & pleasure therein. Each piece is a love letter to craft, a note sent form maker to holder from Justin’s journey as a maker & designer.

Justine’s work is predominantly glazed by dipping into and brushing on differing colours of the same satin- matt base glaze which is soft to the touch and has a slight sheen to the surface.

She has been making wheel thrown, contemporary table and domestic ware from her workshop in the South Downs National Park since 2013.

Justine runs ceramics courses both at her workshop and at a local studio which caters for larger groups.

She is a proud member of the Craft Potters Association, London Potters and Find a Maker.
